After finding your home away from home – negotiating the price and terms of purchase
No matter what reason you have for buying in Turkey; either it is for holiday, future retirement plans or as an investment, Home2Turkey will negotiate on your behalf to ensure that you will get the dream property for the best possible price and terms. Because of our extensive experience with dealing with property we can ensure the best prices both from developers and private sellers. As your partner when buying a home in Turkey, we will do whatever we can to ensure the best deal possible for you.
When you have found your dream home, we will help to reserve the property for you so that we can proceed with the purchase. The cost of reserving the property is normally 1,100€ and non-refundable if you decide to withdraw after reserving the property. The deposit will be deducted from the agreed purchase price as stated in the contract.
The next step after signing the contracts will be to assign your appointed lawyer to make all the necessary checks on the property to ensure that the property can be registered to your name. These checks normally take around 4 weeks to complete. Home2Turkey will recommend to use the legal team (hyperlink again – would suggest that we have a preferred partner with info about them, just very short, like a LinkedIn profile more or less for the lawyer we use and the company name of course) that we are currently working with, but you are of course welcome to choose your own lawyer.
The final step to complete your purchase in Turkey is to register your title deed (TAPU in Turkey). As soon as all the paperwork and both sides have carried out their contractual obligations – your home away from home will finally be registered to your name and you will receive the title deed (TAPU).
